Cornelissen has a digital and real-time overview of all rides from the various clients (shippers); from the end of 2021, they will also be able to use the advanced functionalities such as Last Mile Guidance in the many transports they put out every day.

Result cooperation: transport asset view

The transport asset view is a great result of the partnership between Cornelissen and Simacan. Co-creation brings ideas from both sides together and the digitalisation of a carrier to a higher level.

With this new view, Cornelissen gets insight into the daily schedule and availability of its drivers. With this view, it is easy to relate trucks, trailers, or drivers to trips and shipments. Cornelissen now has insights at a glance into the planned versus actual status of all their transport operations. Scheduling conflicts are clearly marked and thus easy to notice.

Added value for carriers

For Cornelissen it is important that innovative technology can also be applied to existing solutions such as current onboard computers and FMS. Therefore, they are very pleased with the functionalities last mile guidance and safety warnings in the Simacan Control Tower to support the driver, without having to replace all board computers.

The Simacan Control Tower has added value for transporters in the field of:
