Nedcargo connects to the Simacan platform

One of the largest players in transport, freight forwarding and logistics services in the Netherlands, Nedcargo Logistics Group, has decided to monitor and improve its transport operations with the Simacan platform.This makes Nedcargo Logistics Group, in addition to Cornelissen Transport, Dasko Group and Simon Loos, the fourth major Dutch carrier to connect to the Simacan platform to best time-critical transport networks in urban areas.
Insight into transport operations
With more than 850 employees, 7 warehouses and a fleet of over 300 trucks, Nedcargo Logistics Group is a well-known player in the market, particularly in the fields of retail, food & beverages, wines & spirits and freight forwarding. As an important player in the FMCG supply chain, Nedcargo Logistics Group strives to prevent waste in the chain by being progressive and innovative.
With Simacan, the company wants to take the next step in the digitalisation of their activities. Simacan will provide Nedcargo with performance improvement opportunities through rich data insights from their transport operations for planning optimization and real time execution management.
With Simacan's arrival screens, Nedcargo wants to be able to accurately allocate personnel to load and unload cargo, optimise processes and save time. Nedcargo will also issue Simacan Satellites to their own customers, so that they know where their goods are in the chain at all times.
